Welcome to Clotherholme Farm Campsite – a charming, traditional family-run working farm perfectly positioned on the north-western outskirts of Ripon. Easily accessible and just half a mile from Ripon’s historic centre, our site offers the ideal countryside escape with all the convenience of the city nearby.

We are delighted to welcome dogs at Clotherholme Farm – we simply ask that they remain on a lead, as our farm is home to livestock and abundant local wildlife. Explore a network of public footpaths right from your pitch, perfect for walkers eager to discover tranquil woodlands and spot native animals. The picturesque River Laver meanders past our site, providing a refreshing spot to cool off after a day’s adventure.

Immerse yourself in the peace and natural beauty of our campsite, which is excellently located for exploring all that Ripon has to offer. Visit the stunning Cathedral, fascinating Museums, Swimming Baths, and Cinema – all within easy reach. The vibrant heart of Ripon is just 1.5 miles away by foot or bicycle, where you can experience the unique tradition of the Ripon Hornblower, who marks the watch every night at nine o’clock in the bustling market square.

Every Thursday, Ripon hosts a lively Market in the town centre, and you’ll find an impressive mix of independent boutiques and well-known shops throughout the area.

Our campsite is also ideally placed for days out to Brimham Rocks, Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Studley Deer Park, and the awe-inspiring Fountains Abbey. The historic cities of York and Harrogate, as well as Pateley Bridge, are all within easy driving distance. For those seeking adventure further afield, both The Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks promise unforgettable scenery and walks.
